Tegucigalpa, Honduras | May 30 – June 6

First Baptist Church of New Roads (FBCNR) is excited to invite you to be part of an upcoming mission trip to Tegucigalpa, Honduras, the capital city of Honduras. This trip is an opportunity to share the love of Christ through hands-on service, meaningful relationships, and gospel-centered outreach. We will have different fundraising opportunities available to help cover the cost of the trip as well as the projects.

  • Location: Tegucigalpa, Honduras
  • Dates: May 30 – June 6
  • Cost: $2,500 per person
  • Sign-Up Deadline: January 18

What’s Included

Your trip cost covers:

  • Round-trip airfare
  • Lodging
  • Ground transportation
  • Breakfast and supper each day
  • Missionary insurance

Ministry Opportunities

  • Gracias AP, Honduras.

While in Honduras, our team will serve alongside local ministries and churches. Possible projects include:

  • House Building – Helping provide safe and stable housing for families in need
  • Food Distribution – Serving meals in local communities or at the city dump
  • Children’s Ministry – Visiting and encouraging children at a local children’s home
  • Church Visits – Worshiping and partnering with Honduran churches

Projects will be assigned based on team size, needs on the ground, and ministry opportunities available during our stay.

Why Tegucigalpa?

Tegucigalpa is a city of great need and great opportunity. As the capital of Honduras, it is home to many underserved communities facing poverty, food insecurity, and limited access to resources. This trip allows us to be the hands and feet of Jesus while supporting long-term ministry work already happening in the area.

Fundraising & Project Support

In addition to individual trip costs, we are raising funds to support the local ministry projects we will be participating in while in Honduras.

Every dollar given helps make a tangible impact and extends the reach of our mission beyond the trip itself.
